more than junk removal.
I am Labor with a trailer.
I am Michael Mitchell, owner and operator of Haul-A-Way Boise LLC. I have lived and worked in the Treasure Valley my entire life, and with that has come a deep love and respect for the environment and culture of our city. The Valley has grown tremendously during my life, yet I remain committed to the values of community, ethical service, and honest work. Haul-A-Way Boise is a family-owned business and integrity is the backbone of all I do. Much more than a junk removal business, I am Labor with a Trailer.
I grew up in the 90s with a real estate entrepreneur as my grandfather and an independent contractor/entrepreneur for a grandmother. Grandpa would always have me doing odd jobs on his property, or on a property he was looking to develop. For school clothes every year, I worked for him to earn the money for clothes and a cheeseburger, a good day with Grandpa. Now, the tasks were not always absolutely crucial (he once had me build a dam from river rocks in the creek behind his house), but I learned the value of quality work and customer satisfaction.
Grandma, on the other hand, worked for people who needed a little extra help with day-to-day activities. When she needed additional help, she called me to come in with the assist. From building retaining walls along Logger Creek, to gardening, to sanding decks, to pruning trees, there was always something new to learn when working with her. Grandma had true grit, making her way from smalltown Texas, through Colorado, and into Boise in the 1960s, she was a hardworking woman with a heart of gold. More than anything, she taught me that truly valuable work comes from being an asset to your community.
Both my grandfather and grandmother were integral in my formation as an adult. All of their love and lessons have brought me to where I am today. Whether you need me for 30 minutes or a week, I am committed to your satisfaction, and execute with safety, care, quality, and timeliness.
